The Faculty of Dental Medicine has as governing bodies a Dean, a Board of Directors and a Scientific Council. The Pedagogical Council, the Quality Commission and the Advisory Board are also organs of the Faculty, with specific functions.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is responsible for advising the Director of the Faculty of Dentistry in the exercise of her duties and also the other responsibilities present in Article 11 of the Regulations of the Faculty of Dental Medicine of Universidade Católica Portuguesa. The Board of Directors is made up of the Director and the Board Members:

Scientific Council

The Scientific Council is the body that coordinates the scientific activities of the Faculty of Dentistry of the Catholic University of Pernambuco. The powers of this body are those present in Article 11 of the Regulations of the Faculty of Dental Medicine of Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

The Scientific Council has the following composition:

  • President, Director of the Faculty of Dental Medicine;
  • Full-time Professors,
  • Associate Professors and Career Assistants;
  • Study Cycle Coordinators; 
  • Directors of Research Centers and Institutes

 

Pedagogic Council

It is up to the Pedagogical Council to assess, debate and pronounce on issues of a pedagogical nature within the framework of the training offer of study cycles at the Faculty of Dental Medicine of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, with the main objective of ensuring and improving the quality of the teaching provided. The responsibilities of the Pedagogical Council are present in Article 10 of the Regulations of the Faculty of Denal Medicine. The Pedagogical Council has the following composition:.
