Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet all of the following conditions:
- Hold a completed Portuguese secondary education diploma (12th grade) or a legally equivalent qualification;
- Not fall under the status of an international student, as defined by:
- Decree-Law No. 36/2014 of March 10,
- Amended by Decree-Law No. 113/2014 of July 16, and
- Decree-Law No. 62/2018 of August 6;
- Have achieved a minimum application score of 100 (on a scale of 0 to 200);
- Have completed one of the following combinations of national entrance exams:
(02) Biology and Geology + (07) Physics and Chemistry or
(02) Biology and Geology + (16) Mathematics or
(02) Biology and Geology + (18) Portuguese
Minimum required score for each entrance exam: 95 (scale of 0 to 200)
Application Score Calculation
The final application score is calculated using the following formula:
· 50% – Final secondary school grade
· 50% – Combined entrance exam scores (25% from each exam)
Note: Final national exams are valid as entrance exams in the year they are taken and for the four subsequent years, in accordance with Legal Opinion 4/2022 (Diário da República, 2nd Series, July 12, 2022).
