Holders of Other Higher Education Degrees
This competition is open to holders of a bachelor’s degree, licentiate, master’s degree, doctoral degree, or equivalent.
The application for these students to the FMD-UCP is formalized by completing the application form, accompanied by the following documents:
- Civil and tax identification documents;
- Higher education certificate (indicating the final course average);
- Complete CV explaining the professional path.
Notes:
- For holders of foreign higher education qualifications, a declaration explaining the grading scale must be provided if it differs from the Portuguese system (0-20 points, with a passing grade from 10);
- Candidates with a previous degree with the same designation (or an equivalent international designation) of the one they are applying for are not accepted.
RANKING CRITERIA
Course Grade (40%) + Relevance of Degree (30%) + Professional Experience (30%)
Course Grade (weight: 40%)
Scale:
- 20 = Final degree average between 17 and 20
- 16 = Final degree average between 14 and 16
- 12 = Final degree average between 10 and 13
Relevance of Degree (weight: 30%)
Scale:
- 20 = Very Relevant (Fields closely related to Dental Medicine or Biomedical Sciences)
- 15 = Relevant (Health-related fields)
- 10 = Less Relevant (Fields in Exact and Natural Sciences)
- 0 = Irrelevant (Other fields of study)
Professional Experience (weight: 30%)
Scale:
- 20 = More than 5 years of experience in activities relevant to the course
- 10 = Less than 5 years of experience in activities relevant to the course
- 0 = No experience in activities relevant to the course
