This admission route is intended for applicants who are 23 years old or older by December 31st of the year prior to application. It is designed for those who do not hold qualifications that allow them to access higher education through the general regime or other special regimes.

Applicants must demonstrate their capacity to attend and succeed in higher education. Students who already hold a degree with the same designation or internationally equivalent title obtained from another institution are not eligible to apply under this regime.

Evaluation Criteria

Applicants to the Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences or the Integrated Master’s in Dental Medicine will be assessed through the following components:

1. Academic and Professional Curriculum

2. Motivational Statement submitted via the application form and complemented by an interview

3. Written Theoretical Exam assessing the required knowledge and skills for the degree

The written exam will take place on September 3rd, 2025 at 10:00 AM (there will be no other editions of this exam).

Weighting of Evaluation Components

Notes:

• Each component is graded on a scale from 0 to 20
• A minimum score of 10 is required in the written exam to pass

• Copy of Citizen Card (ID)

• Academic transcripts and diplomas (originals or certified copies)
• Completed application form (Form. 27)
• Declaration of honor confirming that:

       the applicant does not hold higher education qualifications, and

       is not already the holder of an academic degree

• Group A Pre-Requisites – Interpersonal Communication certified by a medical certificate (only required for Dental Medicine applicants)
