The main research interests are based on molecular diagnosis, namely in the area of salivary proteomics. It seeks to unravel molecular phenomena and identify unregulated pathways in situations of disease and health, allowing the characterization of different individual functional profiles, providing precision medicine. This method will allow, in the near future, an early diagnosis and, consequently, a better prognosis.
