Holds a Degree in Dental Medicine from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Centro Regional das Beiras - Viseu Regional Centre, 2006). He completed his Integrated Clinical Internship at the University Dental Clinic of the same institution between 2004 and 2006.

With a clinical career spanning two decades centered in the central region of Portugal, he began his professional practice in 2006, accumulating extensive experience as a general practitioner, endodontist, and implantologist across several leading private clinics in Viseu and Guarda. He is the founder and clinical director of Clínicas MyMedic, managing his own private practices in Fornos de Algodres (since 2007) and Viseu (since 2015).

He specialized in Advanced Endodontics using operating microscopy, a skill he developed extensively in both private practice and hospital environments, notably at Casa de Saúde São Mateus - Hospital Particular (Viseu) since 2017. Since December 2023, he has dedicated his practice exclusively to Oral Surgery and Implantology.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ricardo Duarte has maintained a strong commitment to international scientific development, completing advanced programs in Digital Workflow, Full Arch Rehabilitation of Atrophic Jaws (Malo Clinic and other leading centers), Periodontology, and Computer-Guided Implant Surgery. His educational background includes advanced training in digital implantology at Queen Mary University of London, and he has held a certified Pedagogical Competency Certificate (CCP) since 2013. In the academic sphere, he was a member of the Organizing Committee for the I Dental Medicine Conference at UCP.
