Miguel Agostinho Beco Pinto Cardoso, DMD, PhD is an Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Dental Medicine of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) in the area of Endodontics.
- He graduated in Dentistry (DMD degree) in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra in 2004.
- He concluded his Master's degree at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra with the thesis “Biocompatibility of Canal obturation systems - Experimental Study” in 2007.
- He achieved the PhD degree in the Universidade de Trás os Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD) with the thesis “Bioceramics in Tissue Regeneration in Furcation Perforations in a Canine Model” in 2017.
- He is an integrated researcher at the Interdisciplinary Research Center in Health CIIS-UCP.
- He has been a professor at UCP since 2004, teaching various disciplines, mainly in the field of Endodontics.
- He was a volunteer monitor of the Integrated Master in Dental Medicine - 2009/2010 at the Pre-clinical Unit I (Dentistry, Endodontics) in the area of Endodontics at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra.
- He is a member of the Portuguese Dental Association - Ordem dos Médicos Dentistas (OMD-4769) since 2004, of the Portuguese Society of Stomatology and Dental Medicine (SPEMD) since 2007 and of the Portuguese Society of Endodontology (SPE) since 2011.
