DMD, MSc, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dental Medicine of Universidade Católica Portuguesa(UCP), a Dentist registered with the Portuguese Dental Association (OMD) (License No. 12553), and holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In 2009, he completed his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), having worked in several engineering companies and participated in various national and international projects. In 2019, he completed his Master’s degree in Dental Medicine at the Faculty of Dental Medicine of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (FMD-UCP). From 2020 to 2023, he undertook a Postgraduate Program in Orthodontics and Facial Orthopedics at Instituto Eduardo Prado, Portugal, and in 2024 he completed his PhD in Dental Medicine at the University of Salamanca, Spain.

From 2021 to 2024, he served as Invited Assistant / Invited Assistant Professor at FMD-UCP, teaching several subjects related to Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics, Biomaterials, Prosthodontics, and New Technologies applied to Dental Medicine.

In 2025, he was recruited as a tenure-track Assistant Professor, a position he currently holds.

Regarding research activities, he is a collaborating researcher at CIIS-UCP within the “Precision Oral Health Platform.”
