Católica's Integrated Master's in Dental Medicine (MIMD) trains the dentists of the future, and prepares them to succeed anywhere in the world, aware of their responsibility to contribute to the oral health of the communities they serve.

Católica's renowned cutting-edge approach to teaching dentistry is based on digitalisation and pedagogical innovation, using simulators and the integration of clinical and molecular data to support precision dentistry. Access to the research resources and infrastructures of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Health Research (CIIS) and close collaboration with the Biomedical Sciences degree allow graduates to actively participate in research projects from the very first years of the course.
Innovation at the MIMD also involves a strong connection to the community and the various local partnerships, combined with Learning and Service strategies that allow students to contribute to Participatory and Preventive Oral Health, being agents of change in society and contributing to achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
The MIMD is a cycle of studies in which internationalisation plays a fundamental role and is evident in the student body and in the collaborations with international teachers and researchers. Located in one of the cities with the best quality of life in Portugal, Viseu, the MIMD has alumni in prominent positions all over the world.
