On 8 November 2024, we welcomed back to our FMD-UCP Professor Dimitris Tatakis, Professor of Periodontology at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, author of more than 180 articles, and member, examiner and director of the American Board of Periodontology.

Having previously stayed at our FMD-UCP on a Fullbright scholarship, Professor Tatakis returned to our house to give us a seminar as part of ‘Science at FMD’ entitled ‘Gummy Smile: Diagnostic and Treatment Perspectives’. A brilliant presentation, very didactic, always supported by scientific evidence. Another excellent opportunity for our teachers and students to acquire/update their knowledge!
