The objective of the Biomolecular Laboratories III Curricular Unit is to prepare students for scientific research work in the laboratory, through knowledge of fundamental and transversal techniques in different areas, from molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry and genetics, to microbiology and immunology, among others. . In addition to training in interpretation and experimental execution of protocols, the skills to be acquired in this UC include knowing how to be in the laboratory, from the application of safety rules to the organization of scientific data and recording in the laboratory notebook, as well as the preparation of reports and reading and discussion of scientific articles.
