The main objectives of this subject involve offering an overview of various existing problems and applications in Computational Biology, in order to enable the student to understand and properly use existing tools and find their own solutions. The course will provide an introduction to Bioinformatics and Systems Biology, the main problems it can respond to and available tools. At the end of the course, the student should be able to use protein and gene databases to find information necessary for various studies. You should also understand and apply tools from the area of ​​Systems Biology and Bioinformatics to solve concrete problems, particularly with regard to the analysis and functional interpretation of data in biological systems.
