Mariana Pinheiro Torres de Seabra, DDS, MSc, PhD, has been an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) since 2007. She is based at the Viseu faculty campus where she has developed a strong interest in the field of pediatric dentistry.
Dr Seabra graduated as a specialist dentist registered with the Portuguese General Dental Council (OMD) (Certificate 4664). She obtained her DDS in dentistry in 2004 from the Fernando Pessoa University in Porto in 2004. Later she obtained a master’s degree in pediatric dentistry from the Faculty of Dental Medicine, at the University of Porto in 2007 followed by a PhD in Dental Medicine from the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the University of Porto in 2016
She is recognized as a specialist in pediatric dentistry by the Portuguese General Dental Council (OMD)
Dr Seabra also has post-graduate specialized training in Oral Rehabilitation in Advanced Biomimetics from CESPU in 2017 and in Laser Applications in Dental Medicine from CESPU in 2018.
